We are looking for an Interim Purchasing Manager for a Swedish company with headquarters and production in Skåne for our client. The company is active in sales, design and manufacture of equipment for power contracts and automation. Customers and suppliers are mainly in the Swedish market. The company has sales of approximately SEK 180 million and approximately 80 employees.
There is a need to streamline the strategic purchasing processes at the same time as implementing at least 5% cost savings on the purchasing volume. The purchasing unit consists of 3 people. The interim manager is part of the management team for Operation and reports to the Operations Manager.
At least 15 years’ experience of successful work as a purchasing manager in mechanical or electrical engineering manufacturing.
Successfully developed strategic purchasing and achieved agreed savings targets.
Experience from the electric power industry and project-driven manufacturing is an advantage.
Technical competence with a burning interest in business.
Hands-on, driving, clear and meets promised deadlines.
Successful leadership that motivates and engages its employees.
Fluent in English speaking and writing.
Relevant higher education
The location is in Skåne and the assignment starts immediately. Estimated to last for at least 6 months with the possibility of employment.
