Our client, an international joint venture in the green technology sector is seeking an experienced, hands-on Interim Finance Manager. The Interim Manager will support the setup of the finance department structure in the new company’s first plant. This position requires flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, startup environment.

Interim Finance Manager’s Key Tasks

  • Setting up the local entity in compliance with all legal requirements.
  • Developing and implementing procedures for financial control, follow-up, and forecasting.
  • Managing accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoicing, billing, and collection.
  • Setting routines for purchase orders, accounting, invoicing, payments, and reporting.
  • Establishing administrative routines to ensure compliance with processes, HSE (Health, Safety, Environment), and quality standards.


  • Excellent experience in group accounting, consolidation, and reporting.
  • Experience in leading teams.
  • Experience working with Fortnox and Excel.
  • Knowledge of local tax regulations.
  • Experience working in an international environment.
  • Strong analytical skills, capable of interpreting complex data and financial information.
  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or higher education (or similar degree).
  • Fluent in Swedish and English.

This position has no direct reports. The interim manager reports to the Site Manager.

The interim assignment is full-time and expected to start as soon as possible, lasting 6–9 months.

The workplace is on the Swedish West Coast.
