Interim Logistics Manager
Our client is a manufacturing company in western Sweden, with highly automated, continuous production 24/7, to automotive customers in Europe.
The raw material value of the products is very high and the scope for capital rationalization is significant. One of your primary tasks will be to implement new ways of working in production planning and in warehousing to reduce capital tied up.
Significant stock reduction without risking delivery security will be one of your focus goals as well as the implementation of relevant metrics.
The function is new in the company and aims to establish new internal processes and build robust structures for the future in production planning and warehousing. The company chooses an interim solution to quickly achieve results, but also to evaluate the long-term need for a permanent function.
You have a background with adequate higher education and many years of operational experience in logistics, inventory management and / or production planning, with an emphasis on capital rationalization issues.
